Choosing an AI Company in Bangalore: 10 Questions to Ask Before You Sign
There are a lot of companies in Bangalore offering AI, automation and software. Many are good. Some are mostly adding the word "AI" to what they already sold. As an AI company ourselves, we think buyers should ask hard questions. The difference rarely shows up in the pitch, so it helps to ask the right questions. Here are ten we think every business should ask, and we're happy for you to ask us the same.
1. Who are the engineers, and what have they built?#
In AI work the engineers matter most. Find out whether the people you meet are the ones who will build and run your project, and ask what they have shipped before.
2. Can I speak to a past client?#
A confident company will connect you with someone they've worked with. Look at their case studies too, but a direct conversation tells you more.
3. How will you understand my business?#
Be wary of anyone who proposes a solution before asking about how your business runs. The best work starts with questions.
4. What exactly will I get, and when?#
You should receive a plain description of deliverables, stages and timelines. Vague promises usually mean vague results.
5. How will we communicate?#
Ask how often you'll hear from them, through which channel, and how fast they respond when something is urgent. A clear response standard is a good sign.
6. How do you measure success?#
For SEO, ads and growth work, agree on the numbers that matter before you start. Be cautious of anyone who guarantees a specific ranking or a fixed outcome, because nobody controls Google.
7. Who owns the work?#
Your website, code, accounts, data and content should belong to you. Make sure that's clear in writing, so you're never locked in.
8. What happens after launch?#
Systems and websites need maintenance and improvement. Ask what support looks like, what it costs, and how changes are handled.
9. Will you tell me when something won't work?#
You want a partner who says "that's a bad idea" when it is, not one who agrees with everything and bills for it.
10. Can you do it all, or will I need other vendors?#
If your website, marketing and operations need to work together, ask how the company handles that. We cover why in one team for your entire digital infrastructure.
How We'd Answer#
We aim to answer each of these openly, and our process is written down for exactly that reason. If you're comparing options, bring this list to every conversation, ours included.
